Ettore, take me home!

Not only did Italian industrial designer and architect Ettore Sottsass design some of the most iconic furniture pieces ever, he also drew a couple of houses. Like this Silicon Valley dream finished in 2000 for example. We could definitely have an Arnold Palmer or two by that pool on a hot summer day.  Work space perfection. Connecticut Dreaming

We figured we'd start off with one of our dream houses, designed by interior designer India Mahdavi. We wouldn't mind spending a few days in this Connecticut country house, lounging in the spacious living room, chilling at the Piet Hein Eek table in the pool house, or dreaming away in the James Turrell light work (!). Lamp, table and dog. We want it all.   Piet Hein Eek table in the pool house. Sol LeWitt wall drawing in the game room. Just a lil' James Turrell light installation in the main house. Oh hi, hello there!

So this officially constitutes the first blog post in our The Inabo Home blog series. As we we think beautiful indoor shoes are best worn in beautiful homes, we decided to start this blog as an inspirational scrapbook of sorts.  Here we will gather all the beautiful homes, interior design objects and all the other things we come across that inspire us.
